*Concerned Anambra Youths Declares Total Support for Dr. Tony Nwoye*
Members of the group called concerned Anambra youths gathered today at Awka to communicate there decision to support Dr. Tony Nwoye and APC in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
The youths numbering over 1000 that are drawn from the 21 LGAs in the state gathered today at Awka to communicate their decision to stand one of their own.
While speaking at the event, Comr. Michel Nnoka said that the members of the organisation have taken time to observe the anticident, character and potentialities of all the aspirants and mostly the youths among them before taking decision to stand with Dr. Tony Nwoye because he is seen as the only candidate that comes from the people and have the will to make the youths enjoy dividends of democracy, hence their decision to fully support him in this governorship election.
In response, Dr. Tony Nwoye who received the youths in his campaign office regretted the place of the youths in the Nigerian polity especially Anambra state.
He frowned at the way the youths are regarded and treated in the state. He reiterated that the time when the youths are sought for during the elections for their assistance after which they will be discarded and labelled miscreants or thugs has passed
He likened the manner the youths are used with that of the proverbial dog and the Hunter that went to hunt at the bush and when they come back to enjoy the spoils of their efforts the Hunter now warns the wife to be weary of the dog.
Dr. Nwoye reassured the youths that the hour has come for the youths to fully partake in leadership decisions in the state, saying that his candidature is just an act of God because some elders in the society usually find it difficult to support the youths and their development but that God has shown clearly that he wants the youths to take over Leadership this time.
He urged the youths to own and take this project as theirs.
