Dr. Tony Nwoye Reacts to allegation level against him
Re : Ngige cries out. My life is in danger.
Our attention has been drawn to another pseudo write up purportedly credited to Dr Chris Ngige in which he was alleged to have petitioned the security services over a threat to his life by Sen. Andy Ubah and Dr Tony Nwoye.
While we do not hold brief for Sen Andy Ubah and other aspirants, we however have it on excellent authority that Sen. Chris Ngige who is by the Grace of God, the leader of the party in the state has not demanded or received any bribe from Dr Tony Nwoye or any other aspirants that would warrant the purported threat to his life.
Dr Chris Ngige - a former Governor of this state that liberated
this state from long years of bad governance, maladministration, ineptitude and inefficiency that characterized the government that preceded his own has remained the true and neutral leaders and respected elder stateman expected of him.
Thus, may we make it unequivocally clear that Dr Tony Nwoye who is the front line aspirant has never approached Dr Chris Ngige for any undue favour let alone bribing him.
May we inform:
1. That Dr Tony Nwoye has since his joining the APC remained loyal, humble and respectful to the party and its leadership.
2. That he has never approached Dr Chris Ngige for any undue favor.
3. That Dr Chris Ngige has never demanded any money from Dr Tony Nwoye to aid, help and unduly favour him to clinch the party ticket
4. That Dr Tony Nwoye has not and will never bribe Dr Chris Ngige for him to gain unfair advantage over other aspirants
5. That Dr Tony Nwoye who has been heavily occupied with his consultations with stakeholders, group and one one meeting with the delegates has not and can never threatened the revered leader of the party - Dr Chris Ngige for any reason let alone issuing a threat over a purported refund of bribe money.
6. That Dr Tony Nwoye and many other aspirants have been majorly occupied with their grassroots campaigns to woo the delegates to vote for them.
In view of the above, it is evidently clearly that these deluge of false fabrication, calumnious write ups and undisciplined innuendos being churned out on daily basis against his person and ambition is not unexpected, but very unfortunate to say the least.
Meanwhile, it is pertinent to state at this juncture that APC is a party with a difference, well structured and built on the foundation of principles of internal democracy, therefore, the outcome of its primary election can not be a function of one man's choice no matter how highly placed, but the collective decision of the Electorates or delegates.
However, the public is by this post urged to disregard and discard this maliciously sponsored article alleging that Dr Tony Nwoye has threatened to 'delete' Dr Chris Ngige for allegedly collecting a bribe from him as this only exists in the jaundiced figments of the writes.
While Dr Tony Nwoye has consistently been in touch with the electorates and has gained their love and acceptance to the extent that as we write this piece that he has become the beautiful bride with an unanimous acceptance, he has and is still in good working relationship with Dr Chris Ngige whom he respect as the party leader in the state.
Finally, no matter the volume of these doom prophecies, malicious falsehoods and aberrant gloating vengefully intended to smear his name and distract him from the genuine pursuit of his gubernatorial ambition by many of his transducers, the daily gain in popularity, mass appeal, accessibility and general acceptability which has constantly placed Dr Tony Nwoye as the lead Guber Aspirant has never and will never wane.
