APC NATIONAL. WHAT IS THE DATE FOR ANAMBRA PRIMARY? WHO ARE THE DELEGATES?

APC NATIONAL. WHAT IS THE DATE FOR ANAMBRA PRIMARY? WHO ARE THE DELEGATES?
We were the first political party to write INEC requesting to conduct early primary for the Anambra Gubernatorial election in June.
INEC released their schedule and gave all parties from 23rd July to September 2nd as time frame.
As at today 28th July, PPA already has their candidate., APGA has fixed and published date and schedule for their primary. UPP has fixed date for their primary. Even the embattled PDP has convened towards their primary.
Is it not worrisome that as at today the APC has not:
(1). Announced a date and schedule for our primary and (2). Published our real delegates list?
What is causing this silence?. Is it conscious? Or is there something we do not know? Why would different lists be in circulation and the National has not been decisive?
Some earlier rather shallow arguments against my request for early primary postulated that if we had an early primary, losers may leave.
My question is "Leave to where?". Will any of our aspirants be given the ticket of APGA or PDP?
Even after a late primary, can u stop any unsuccessful aspirant from leaving?
Why won't the APC National appreciate the tedious job ahead of APC in Anambra and expedite action in electing a candidate for the November 18 election?
Why does it seem that the National doesn't understand that whoever emerges our candidate actually needs more campaign time than candidates of other parties?
Do you need a seer to tell u that APC has more work to do to convince the electorate in Anambra than any other party here for very obvious reasons?
Or is it possible that someone somewhere is working round the clock to ensure APC doesn't succeed. Yes. Not every so called APC stakeholders want the party's success come November. It's a fact.
The aspirants were told they will be given the authentic list of delegates when they submit their nomination forms but even after all aspirants have returned their forms, it's now "Come today, come tomorrow".
By the way, Anambra state is neither Sokoto nor Ondo and as such must be treated differently. Time is of essence as we do this uphill battle.
Why the delay when we even already know the candidates of our major opposition parties? Gini ka ana ekwudi ifea? Yes. Willie Obiano will emerge for APGA while Oseloka Obaze will emerge for PDP. So what are we dilly dalying for? The earlier we hold this Primary and know our candidate, the better for APC.
I hereby humbly call on the National Chairman of APC HE Chief John Odigie Oyegun to immediately release to the aspirants (and possibly publish) the full authentic Anambra state delegates list for the guber primary and publish the date and schedule of activities for the said primary.
A stitch in time saves nine.
