Anambra 2017: It Is Over For APGA And Willie Obiano.
The sound of gong is echoing in every nook and cranny of Anambra state and the coast is getting clearer as every gathering in Anambra has it that with Hon. Dr Tony Nwoye as APC flag bearer, it is over for APGA and Willie Obiano.
I perceived it as sound of victory and an opportunity to emancipate Anambra and Nigeria youths from the hands of retirees as their leaders which is the bane of corruption and siphoning of our common wealth.
APC delegates don't need to dig deeper while selecting their flag bearer. Dr Tony Nwoye is the peoples choice and answer to our journey to Agu-awka, with a strong structure to unseat APGA and Willie Obiano.
He's a hard nut for APGA and Obiano to crack and they know it. He's the only aspirant in APC that knows how to beat APGA and Obiano and make them his subject even with their power of incumbency.
After demonstrating his readiness and stood his ground to ensure party ticket was not hijack by those who's afraid of open contest and insisted that APC delegates should be allowed to exercise their rights by nominating a candidate they believe in his antecedents and political sagacity to unseat the incumbent Governor.
Having fought for the rights of the delegates, I think it is time for the delegates to deliver him at the primaries to fly APC flag. What he fought for shows he want to ensure internal democracy in APC and uphold the rights of her members.
Dr Tony Nwoye deserved to be elected at the party's primaries by the delegates. This is because he can still maintain the party structures in the state and allow the current executives and delegates to continue. He will be comfortable working with them to move the party forward and ensure APC dream of capturing South East come to reality.
However, APC delegates need to elect an aspirant with a tactical structure on ground to fly our party's flag. Dr Tony Nwoye is the only aspirant with best tactical structure and FORMULA to unseat Obiano. This FORMULA has recorded a lot of success in Nigeria and Anambra political landscape.
